We don’t keep up with sports. We just don’t. Not that we don’t enjoy the occasional Home game (Or more recently the Away game we went to), but we just don’t keep up with them. I couldn’t tell you anything about any sports team or even sport for that matter, and I’m okay with that. Drew might even know less than I do, as he doesn’t have a family that is crazy about sports.
But we are huge fans of something…and that’s politics.
In 2006, we stayed up waaay past bed time (We worked Night Audit then) and got drunk and waited for the outcome of the Congressional Elections. Where (!) the Democrats turned out and won both the House and the Senate. This was a good day.
We’ve been less excited about the product, but ya know…I’m sure it’s better than the alternative. Anyway, that’s not what this is about.
Obama won the Iowa Democratic Caucus. And Huckabee won the Republican one. Woah!
This is exciting. I’ve followed it all night. I was on pins and needles whenever they were all pretty much tied.
And now, the wait for the Super Bowl in November!
Gah, Could I *be* any more of a nerd?
Answer? No, but you love me anyway!

i do love how into politics you are! it makes me feel less nerdy

Oh, you just made me miss Friends with the “Could I *be* any more of a nerd?”
